Munich - Controversial or Overrated?

Since the Brokeback Mountain commentary by Laura turned out such wonderful debate, I thought I'd make a little post on here about Munich.

Here's a film that I thought was masterfully put together. An enganging story, that doesn't really paint any side as right (although, I could see an arguement that argued that the Jew side of the equation might have been a bit on the soft side).

What do people think who've seen the film? Is it Steven Speilberg's best work in years or is it nothing more than the action films he's made in the past with a gloss of timely political subject matter?

I think it stands out, easily, as one of the best films of the year.
